Lori Kuglin-Shaw, Sunbridge Farm Horses

About Us

Sunbridge Farm is centrally located to Thornbury, Meaford, Collingwood and Markdale.

We are a facility committed to top quality care and training for horses and riders. Our facility offers on site 24 hour staff, a large outdoor ring and a 152'x72' bright and clean indoor arena. There are also outdoor well fenced paddocks for individual and group turnouts. Sunbridge is adding a new sand ring summer of 2011.

This is a family run business involved with every aspect of the day to day running of the farm. Lori Shaw-Kuglin's passion for horses began at a very early age and she started competing in her teens. She gained valuable knowledge and experience when she had the opportunity to train and compete with Mac Cone, one of Canada’s top Hunter/Jumper trainers and also to travel with his world cup horses.

Lori continued to gain and expand her knowledge by training with Hugh Graham and renown USA coach George Morris. Always ready to grow she earned her CHS Level 4 teaching certificate and is also a Certified Equine Massage Therapist.

After a number of years away from the Beaver Valley, Lori came back ready to start her business “Sunbridge”. She has the ability to recognize potential. Many of her Junior and Amateur riders find their dreams and compete from the Trillium Level to winning on the “A” Circuit and also at the Royal Winter Fair.

Lori’s strong belief of good horsemanship, patience, and achieving goals is what helps her students become very competitive and educated riders.

Her belief is not to over face horse or rider and to work with you and your horse.
